Lucky Ox
ColourPop Lucky Ox 9-Pan Curated Shadow Palette ($15.00 for 0.45 oz.) includes nine full-sized eyeshadows housed in a freestyle palette (so they can be rearranged with ease). All of these shades have been released previously across various palettes, so for those who have a lot of ColourPop palettes, you’ll want to check for overlap. I felt like it performed in line with the brand’s eyeshadows last year; the mattes were a little more powdery, while the shimmers have a looser press that sometimes feels drier and tend to perform better pressing/patting them on.
Full Expose
Full Expose is a light-medium, yellowy beige with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was more velvety and substantial, so it had actually retained most of its opacity when applied to bare skin. If I wasn’t careful, there was some fallout, so it was better used earlier on if it would be above deeper shades. It lasted for seven and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush. Browse all of our ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadow swatches.
